Posted by Ebony Minott

The former Full House star, John Stamos, was blackmailed by a women who claims she had a fling with the actor in 2004. Allison Coss and Scott Sippola, her boyfriend, conspired to swindle the actor out of $680,000. The couple threatened to expose photos of Stamos with cocaine and stippers if he didn’t pay the money. Stamos called the FBI and had the two arrested. Once the pair was arrested, their house was searched and no photos of that manner was found.

Although, those photos were not found, Coss still claims she had a fling with the actor when she was 17 in 2004. It is to believe that they met in Florida while she was on spring break and the two became  intimate. The trial is now going on and Stamos will soon testify.

Prince Says the Internet is Dead

Posted by Ariel Cherie

Prince is set to release a new album, 20Ten but instead of putting it on iTunes, which seems to be the way to go nowadays, there will be free giveaways of his album in newspaper, yes, newspapers, around Europe, he explained in an interview with London’s Daily Mirror .
“The Internet’s completely over,” Prince told the Mirror. “[It's] like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated.”
Umm, I’m not sure if he knows this, but newspaper sales are down all over the world. I’m a Prince fan, but the last time I physically picked up a newspaper was, uhh… See my point?
Not only does he say the ‘Net is dead, but he says that it has absolutely no intellectual value.

“All these computers and digital gadgets are no good,” said the singer, who also shut down his official website. “They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.” (What numbers is he talking about? I think he should lay off the creamy crack and go natural because there is no way that his relaxer can be good for him after all these years.)
“I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else,” he told the paper. ”They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it.”

Prince just received a Lifetime Achievement award at the BET awards last week. In his speech, he made a comment saying the future belongs to the young people and it is their time now. How do you think they got here. Souljah Boy ALONE created his career from YouTube. Come on, Prince, with the contractidictions.

I hope he “gives away” many albums and people actually listen.
I might have bout one.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Bans the use of Welfare Debit Cards in Casinos.

Posted by Ebony Minott

In California, residents were using their welfare debit cards in casinos. Over 1.8 million dollars were withdrawn from ATM’s between October 2009 and last month. According to mydesert.com and Los Angles Times,  Governor Schwarzenegger became fed up and banned it so money can not be withdrawn from EBT cards using ATM’s in any gambling establishments.

My question is why are people on welfare gambling?

I think Schwarzenegger made the right choice by banning it. I feel it’s wrong to be able to use tax payers money in that way. That money is for people that can’t afford the basic needs, not for a night out at the casino. It sounds like those residents need to get their priorities in check or maybe they are being given to much money to spear.

However, I know there are plenty of casinos that don’t allow EBT cards to be used in their ATM’s. So why is it just now being banned in California’s casinos? It looks to be that those establishment took money anyway they can get it. But clealy, it’s starting to catch up with them.

President Barack Obama: The Next Angry Black Man?

Posted by Ariel Cherie

From Clutch Magazine — Silence.

Another brother has gone in.

Angry Black Man, the cliché term used for brothers who can’t hold their tongue or swallow their aggression when it comes to their passion for certain issues. They have a tendency to fly off the handle whenever they feel “hoodwinked,” and often times their outspoken nature resembles the likes of King Kong; fiery, petrifying and merely seconds from crushing the city of Manhattan.

… or so White Folks think.

Most notable A.B.M. include Comedian Paul Mooney, Harvey Walden, Spike Lee, Bill Cosby, Dick Gregory, Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Randy Moss, Allen Iverson, Latrell Spreewell, Nino Brown, the 2004 Indiana Pacers Basketball Team, Mr. T, Kanye West, and now…

…Verbally gloved, and ready to pack a punch at any second, the latest brother to wear the crown of being dubbed an Angry Black Man, is none other than our President Barack Obama.

As CNN reported last week, President Obama, whom many, including A.B.M. alum Spike Lee, have criticized for his lack of public aggression pertaining to the happenings in the Gulf of Mexico, has finally issued an eye raising statement on the NBC “Today Show” about his plans for those responsible for the oil spill.

“I was down there a month ago, before most of these talking heads were even paying attention to the Gulf. A month ago I was meeting with fisherman down there, standing in the rain, talking about what a potential crisis this could be. And I don’t sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar, we talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers so I know whose ass to kick.”

So, Obama is looking for “whose ass to kick,” huh? But are his choice of words a reason to cause a spectacle, or just another excuse to peg a brother with passion an Angry Black Man?
